PRESS RELEASE

BOXBOROUGH, Mass., May 19, 2009—Digital Reef (www.digitalreefinc.com), developer of one of the first massively scalable unstructured data management platforms, today announces the launch of the Digital Reef Partner Program. Designed to make unstructured data management more accessible to the enterprises that need it, the program includes selected service partners and solution partners who will add value and/or complement product offerings with Digital Reef technology and solutions.

"When it comes to our Technology Partners, we look for companies that bring special, targeted capabilities that transcend the out-of-the-box experience of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and our standalone enterprise search offerings," stated Nate Treloar, Principal Search Technology Evangelist of FAST/Microsoft. "For example, Digital Reef's unique unstructured data analysis and classification capabilities complement Office SharePoint Server 2007 with functionality that targets the special requirements of the fast-growing eDiscovery market."

By leveraging Digital Reef, partners can extend their offerings with:

The technology and scalability needed to provide a single, comprehensive view of the unstructured data across an entire enterprise, no matter how large or diverse. Search, analytics, automatic data classification, and data management capabilities that complement their eDiscovery, risk management, storage management, and/or information reuse product and service offerings.

Digital Reef's unstructured data management platform provides game-changing functionality for partners who address a variety of enterprise challenges:

Systems integrators (SIs), law firms, and electronic data discovery service providers can now satisfy customer needs with a standalone platform for discovering and managing unstructured data. Because Digital Reef is easily deployed with little configuration, service providers can quickly deliver high-quality services to clients. The solution's API creates an opportunity for systems integrators to provide value-added services as client needs arise. ISVs and OEMS are able to extend applications with analysis, classification, and management services for unstructured data, to enhance existing offerings or differentiate new products.

Digital Reef is capable of augmenting any major software solution for enterprise content management, eliminating the need for static, manual classification processes. Storage systems benefit from Digital Reef's de-duplication and content-based policy management capabilities. Data loss prevention (DLP) and other security vendors can use Digital Reef to automatically discover data at rest and assess associated data risk. eDiscovery providers can enhance service offerings and improve early case assessment by quickly classifying and producing documents that are prioritized for expert review.

"In today's financial climate, enterprises are investing in technologies that allow them to address their most critical business issues while saving resources," said Steve Akers, President and CEO of Digital Reef. "That is why our partners focus on delivering critical functionality and services to help customers address challenges around content management, eDiscovery, email archiving, data security, knowledge reuse, and strategic storage initiatives."

The Digital Reef Partner Program provides the resources partners need to successfully market and/or integrate with the Digital Reef platform and solutions. Resources include sales and technical training, on-call technical consulting and support, marketing materials and programs, and dedicated sales support resources.

The Digital Reef Partner Program is open to a limited number of partners who complement Digital's Reef's technology and share its commitment to quality and customer service. To learn more about the program, call 978-893-1000 or email [email protected].
