NEW YORK (PRWEB) FEBRUARY 19, 2020

Axonius, the cybersecurity asset management company, today announced the launch of Cloud Asset Compliance, leveraging data aggregated from public cloud providers to automatically determine how cloud workload, configuration details, and accounts comply with industry security benchmarks. Available today, Axonius Cloud Asset Compliance for AWS aggregates and correlates data from customers’ AWS environments to show adherence to the rules defined in the CIS Amazon Web Services Foundations Benchmark 1.2.

The speed, flexibility, and cost savings of the cloud are driving many organizations to move mission-critical workloads to public cloud environments. But often, the speed of DevOps and the breadth of instances result in misconfiguration, overly permissive access rights, and sensitive data becoming publicly available to anyone knowing where to look. By aggregating data from public cloud infrastructure providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, Axonius Cloud Asset Compliance automatically shows how each cloud instance conforms to widely accepted security benchmarks like CIS as well as the organization’s overall security policy.

CIS Benchmarks are a set of widely adopted best practices for securing systems and data against attack. Available for more than 140 technologies, CIS Benchmarks are the only consensus-based security configuration guides both developed and accepted by government, business, industry, and academia. They are continuously verified to enable organizations to safeguard their operating systems, software, and networks against evolving cybersecurity challenges.

“The introduction of Cloud Asset Compliance is just the latest example of our ongoing commitment to helping customers automate the manual work involved with getting a credible inventory, understanding security gaps, and automating policy enforcement,” said Avidor Bartov, Co-Founder and Chief Architect at Axonius. “Since we already integrate with nearly 200 solutions to aggregate, correlate, and show how assets match security policies, it made perfect sense to build a series of add-ons to help customers automatically validate adherence to benchmarks like CIS. Whether our customers’ assets are devices on networks or instances in the cloud, we want to show them what they have, whether those assets meet the security policy, and help them remediate issues as quickly or automatically as they want.”

Axonius Cloud Asset Compliance provides additional value in helping security and IT teams continue to move fast by ensuring that their cloud assets are secured as expected, along with offering detailed guidance on what do any time an instance is no longer in compliance.

Axonius Cloud Asset Compliance add-on for AWS is already installed in customer environments and is available to try now. For more information, or to request a live demo, visit Axonius.com.
