1. Alert Logic
Jack Danahy, senior vice president of security at Alert Logic, says the company's SOC-as-a-service strategy boils down to three factors: a platform that offers visibility into security events, a strong background in threat intelligence, and the 24x7 security expertise to monitor, triage, and escalate the most relevant threats.

Alert Logic targets its SOC-as-a-service offering to the midmarket and resource-constrained companies that Danahy says don't have security people in-house or need to augment their internal security teams. The company has around-the-clock coverage in three time zones, with SOCs in Houston and Cardiff, UK, and additional offices in Austin, Texas, London, and Cali, Colombia.
