When it comes to the cloud, security is like an itch that just won't go away. For some security professionals, no level of reassurance can clear the questions. But five years ago, tools to protect the cloud arrived in the cloud -- and spread their influence to on-premises and hybrid infrastructures, as well. Join us on the week's episode of Voice of Security Radio as we talk about technology that lives in the cloud and protects everything in the enterprise compute chain.
Register here and mark your calendar for 3:00 p.m. EDT on Thursday, June 29 when we'll welcome Kamal Shah, SVP of products and marketing at Skyhigh Networks to talk about Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) technology and what it means for securing clouds -- and everything else in your enterprise computing infrastructure.
Kamal is responsible for product management, product marketing, demand generation and corporate marketing. Kamal brings more than 20 years of experience identifying new markets, creating category-defining products and building large businesses.
Prior to Skyhigh Networks, Kamal was part of the founding executive team at Clearwell Systems, a market-leading big data application for Legal and Information Security. Kamal led Products and Marketing at Clearwell until it was acquired by Symantec in 2011.
Before Clearwell, Kamal was general manager of the customer data integration business unit at Siebel Systems (acquired by Oracle), where he played a key role in growing the business from inception to more than $75 million in revenue over three years.
He has also held product management positions at Asera, Trilogy Software and Palm Inc. Kamal began his career at Federal Express, where he joined as a developer and eventually led the team responsible for developing and launching new services and pricing strategies.
What does a CASB bring to the security table? Why would you need one? And how have you been secure without one until now? These are just some of the questions that we'll answer when we talk with Kamal Shah on this week's Voice of Security Radio. Register here and join us at 3:00 p.m. EDT on Thursday, June 29 for what is sure to be a great episode. And remember: you'll have a chance to ask your own questions when you join the conversation around the episode. When the on-air portion ends, Kamal will join the discussion to answer your questions directly -- and that's something you won't want to miss.
