Cisco's Threat Research Analysis and Communications (TRAC) team is dedicated to advancing the state-of-the-art of threat defense. Jaeson has worked for more than 20 years in information security. Prior to joining Cisco's TRAC team, he held positions at Counterpane, Brightmail, and IronPort. His experience spans the gamut, from hardware hacking, to log analysis and security policy recommendation, to thwarting misuse of Internet application layer protocols like DNS, HTTP, and SMTP. Jaeson studied computer science at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas currently holds an Amateur Extra radio license from the FCC under the call sign K8YJO.
