StealthWatch Approved for Army Networks

Lancope's StealthWatch System for flow-based network behavior analysis approved for US Army networks

ATLANTA -- Lancope, Inc., the provider of the StealthWatch™ System, the most widely used Network Behavior Analysis (NBA) and response solution, announced today that StealthWatch has been approved for the U.S. Army Information Assurance Approved Products List (AIAAPL). Unifying flow-based anomaly detection and network performance monitoring, StealthWatch protects critical infrastructures and confidential governmental records against zero-day attacks, internal misuse and unnecessary network exposures.

Approval of StealthWatch, a single unified system for network and security operations, was based on extensive testing by the U.S. Army Technical Integration Center (TIC). StealthWatch provides end-to-end network visibility with detailed views of anomalies and network utilization for security analysts, network engineers and network planners. StealthWatch now protects more than 30 million hosts worldwide across hundreds of enterprise customers—more than all other direct competitors combined.

The Common Criteria and NIAP-certified StealthWatch System includes StealthWatch Xe for NetFlow, StealthWatch Xe for sFlow, StealthWatch NC for native flow capture, StealthWatch IDentity-1000 and StealthWatch Management Console (SMC) appliances. “We are proud that StealthWatch has met the U.S. Army’s exacting standards for products that enhance network performance and information security,” said Harland LaVigne, president and CEO of Lancope. “To maintain the delicate balance between network availability and security, U.S. Government agencies require a powerful combination of network performance monitoring and behavior-based anomaly detection. Our StealthWatch System provides IT security personnel with focused, actionable views of risk across the network, presents historical data to help network planners determine future capacity needs, and reassures operations personnel with maximum uptime.”
