LONDON -- StreamShield Networks today announces that PlusNet, one of the UK's leading and most innovative ISPs, is utilizing StreamShield's revolutionary clean internet pipes solution to market test new network-based security services for customers. This will enable PlusNet to differentiate its product offering and generate incremental revenue.
StreamShield is the first vendor to develop a carrier class solution that is deployed in the ISP's network for cleaning network traffic from a variety of threats. With StreamShield's technology PlusNet will be able to offer a broad range of protection services to its subscribers, such as adware and spyware blocking, web virus blocking and parental controls.
