TACOMA, Wash. – Nov. 24, 2015 – IID, the source for clear cyberthreat intelligence, today announced it has appointed Sean Tierney as its Vice President of Threat Intelligence. For the past two-plus years, Tierney headed up Morgan Stanley’s cyber defense efforts worldwide as its Executive Director of Computer Emergency Response and Cyber Intelligence.

In his new role, Tierney will lead IID’s threat intelligence (TI) team which collaborates with Fortune 500 companies and government agencies to identify emerging cybersecurity threats. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Tierney served in cybersecurity executive and leadership roles at UBS AG, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Intel Corporation.
