PRESS RELEASE

Mountain View, Calif. (PRWEB) November 17, 2009 -- InfoExpress, a leading network security solutions provider, announced today announced that its award winning CyberArmor enterprise personal firewall solution now includes support for the Windows 7 operating system. With support for Windows 7, InfoExpress extends its centrally managed enterprise personal firewall to Windows 7 endpoints, giving network administrators greater control over policies, ensuring maximum protection to employees, guests, partners and contractors connected directly to the network or wirelessly through a corporate Virtual Private Networks (VPN).

"Because many organizations skipped the Windows Vista operating system, upgrade to Windows 7 is expected to be widespread and aggressive," said Stacey Lum, CEO of InfoExpress. "Many of our customers have been looking for Windows 7 support, so the new version gives enterprises an easy to use, centrally managed personal firewall that ensures endpoints are protected from threats whether users are in the office or working remotely."

The company also announced today that it is offering a migration program to customers of IBM BlackICE and Sygate Personal Firewall products. IBM and Symantec recently announced that they have ended support for both products. The InfoExpress Personal Firewall Migration Program quickly and easily moves customers of products that have been discontinued to InfoExpress CyberArmor personal firewall solution. By switching to CyberArmor, customers do not have to incur the expense of upgrading to broader security suites usually offered as replacement products. Migrating to CyberArmor also provides customers with one of the most comprehensive firewalls on the market. CyberArmor has a very small footprint, less than 1Mb and includes a customizable policy management feature that ensures PCs are protected from online threats and gives administrators extensive control over policies.

"Many companies have adopted a layered security approach that has lulled them into a false sense of security that they no longer need endpoint firewalls," said Todd Nakano, co-founder of InfoExpress. "The exact opposite is true. When we scan enterprise networks, administrators are amazed at the amount of pings and scans that continue to hit the endpoint. CyberArmor specifically protects the endpoint from harmful traffic, while at the same time gives network administrators the flexibility to customize policies for individuals or groups."
