Zix Corporation announces mobile email encryption service

DALLAS -- Zix Corporation (ZixCorp®), (Nasdaq: ZIXI), the leader in hosted services for email encryption and e-prescribing, today announced the availability of mobile email encryption service that allows users to securely compose, read, reply and forward an encrypted email message from a handheld device without having to download any software.

ZixCorp is the only provider that allows anyone to access an encrypted email on their mobile device without having to download encryption software to the handheld,” said Nigel Johnson, vice president of product management and business development for ZixCorp. “In addition to our mobile email encryption service, we have expanded support for today’s popular web browsers. The latest release also brings a new look-and-feel to our secure web portal, which makes navigation even easier.”

ZixCorp’s mobile support further enhances the Company’s email encryption service for the more than nine million members of ZixDirectory, the industry’s largest global directory of email recipients, containing some of the most influential organizations in healthcare, financial services and government. The directory provides a centralized mechanism for automatic key exchange, greatly enhancing ease-of-use for both senders and receivers.
