Welcome to https://www.darkreading.com

You may already have noticed that the Dark Reading's daily and weekly newsletters, RSS feed, tweets, and other social media posts recently began sending you to HTTPS-based links. If your bookmark was set to http://www.darkreading.com, it's now taking you directly to our new HTTPS-based site.

We wanted to update you on our HTTPS journey. Dark Reading's Web team over the past months and weeks has been working on getting the site converted from old-school HTTP to encrypted HTTPS. Like many news sites that have been around for more than a decade and have various HTTP assets and content, going HTTPS is not an overnight project. Nearly all of the content on Dark Reading is now HTTPS with the exception of one of our image servers, which is in the process of being migrated to HTTPS. That's why your browser isn't showing the green "Secure" padlock just yet, and you see a security message about image content.

We appreciate your patience during the conversion process. We're eager to make that last leg of our HTTPS journey, so stay tuned. The move to HTTPS is an important and strategic milestone for Dark Reading, and we are eager to fully reach it.
