PRESS RELEASE

SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)-- Apr 21, 2009 Solidcore' Systems, Inc., the leader in controlling critical IT infrastructure from devices to the data center, today announced that it has joined the McAfee' Security Innovation Alliance (SIA) partner program. Under the McAfee SIA program, Solidcore will integrate its S3 Control software with the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) console, enabling customers to centrally manage Solidcore's whitelisting and runtime control security through McAfee ePO.

Solidcore S3 Control uses dynamic whitelisting and runtime control to protect against vulnerable or malicious applications and ensure only pre-authorized software and code can run on an endpoint computer. Solidcore prevents disk tampering and provides advanced memory protection on authorized software to defend against buffer overflow vulnerability attacks. The Solidcore integration with the ePO software will allow customers to manage Solidcore's dynamic whitelisting and runtime control software through the ePO console. In particular, the integration will leverage ePO's framework to deploy and configure S3 Control agents on ePO managed endpoints, providing joint customers a seamless and centralized reporting and management experience.

"Hackers are now leveraging intimate knowledge of computer systems and networks to execute more sophisticated attacks at the endpoint, prompting a need for greater controls on the endpoint," said Jill Kyte, vice president of marketing and business development. "Whitelisting and runtime control should be considered as a baseline requirement for endpoint security. We look forward to integrating Solidcore's patented whitelisting and runtime control capabilities with the ePolicy Orchestrator console to help joint customers maintain the highest level of integrity and compliance across their critical IT environment."

The ePO console is the first platform that lets enterprises and governments centrally manage security and compliance products from multiple vendors, offering unprecedented cost savings and return on investment. With more than 35,000 customers and managing close to 60 million PCs and servers, this unique platform is helping McAfee SIA partners to extend their reach and create complementary functionality. "We are pleased to add Solidcore to the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance," said Joe Gottlieb, vice president of corporate strategy and technology alliances, McAfee. "Our common customers will benefit from the integration of Solidcore's whitelisting and runtime control capabilities with the ePolicy Orchestrator software, making it easier to mitigate the risks associated with unlicensed, non-business related, vulnerable, or malicious applications downloaded by employees."
