PRESS RELEASE

Copenhagen, Denmark, 12th August 2011 – Secunia, the No.1 provider of Vulnerability Intelligence, today announced the launch of a new beta version of its award-winning Secunia Corporate Software Inspector (CSI) solution. The Secunia CSI is an award winning Software Inspection and patching solution for identifying and remediating vulnerabilities in corporate networks.

Key additions and improvements to Secunia CSI 5.0 include:

Software Inspection of Apple Mac OS X. The increasing number of Macs in corporate networks has made Mac security a priority and increased the demand for Software Inspection to ensure that all desktop systems across the enterprise are up-to-date and compliant.

Secunia CSI 5.0 now supports the entire Software Lifecycle and brings even greater value to Microsoft WSUS. With the support for SPS, or Secunia Package System, the CSI 5.0 now allows full 3rd party software deployment and management by offering fresh installs, uninstalls, and patching using only Microsoft WSUS and Secunia CSI 5.0. SPS includes support for language specific updates and 32/64bit support.

The list of improvements is long and also includes better Secunia PSI integration, improved reporting, App-V support, direct community support, local database access, and much more.

To coincide with this launch, Secunia has opened the gates to its solution and has invited its customers and the community to take part in its beta testing process. This approach is a tradition that Secunia has always embraced as crucial feedback during the beta testing process allows Secunia to continually improve and offer true value.
