ATLANTA – June 25, 2013 – Pindrop Security, the pioneer in phone anti-fraud and authentication that provides the most accurate and comprehensive phone fraud detection solution by analyzing the audio content of a phone call to determine deception attempts, announced today the addition of Michael Hughes as Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development. The addition of Hughes will enable Pindrop to strategically support its rapid sales growth.

Michael joins Pindrop Security from Actimize that was acquired by NICE in 2007. At Actimize, Michael was Vice President of North America Sales, managing the sales and account management teams for all large banks and capital markets. He has 25 years of experience in technology sales with a strong focus on fraud and risk management solutions at HNC Software, SAS, ID Analytics, and BasePoint Analytics/CoreLogic. Hughes started his career in banking and credit cards where he managed credit risk, fraud strategy and analytics. Hughes earned a B.S. in Management Science and Operations Research from Philadelphia University. At Pindrop, Michael will be responsible for sales and channel partners worldwide.
