Leuven, BE –19 March 2012 - GlobalSign (www.globalsign.eu), one of the longest established Certification Authorities (CA) and specialists in Partner Programs, today announced that ISPsystem has adopted GlobalSign’s OneClickSSL technology, allowing its hosting customers to benefit from automated SSL provisioning directly from their control panel. The two companies are launching their partnership at World Hosting Days 2012 (March 20-23) held in Europa-Park Germany where SSL automation will be a hot topic.

The process of provisioning SSL Certificates is typically tedious for hosting companies as customers more often than not require assistance through Certificate Signing Request (CSR) creation, application and then installation of the server Certificate and associated Intermediate CA Certificates. The OneClickSSL technology is a revolutionary delivery mechanism which rewrites the SSL paradigm as customers need only to purchase vouchers which are then redeemed via a hosting control panel plug-in – the SSL is active on the site in less than a minute, leaving hosting companies to focus on their core business.

ISPsystem decided to integrate the OneClickSSL technology to complement its suite of hosting solutions and provide easy access to SSL security for their customers, offering a true one-stop shop experience. The OneClickSSL technology is now integrated in its control panel, as well as BILLmanager billing system. Hosters can deploy SSL to a website at the click of a button on behalf of their customers, as well as resell Vouchers for end customers to redeem through the ISPmanager plug-in. ISPsystem customers can benefit from increased revenues from reselling SSL, without the time and costs associated with the traditional issuance processes.

"As a software provider to the hosting industry, we are constantly introducing state-of-the-art technology to respond to the requirements of our customers in a fast evolving environment.", said Chekushkin Igor, CEO, ISPsystem. "SSL automation is at the top of our customers’ concerns, and GlobalSign is a highly trusted provider that has understood the challenges for hosting companies to lower their support costs and accelerate mass issuance of SSL."

“I have seen ISPsystem growing rapidly in the last few years, during which they have built a truly innovative control panel and billing system for hosting companies”, said Paul van Brouwershaven, EMEA Business Development Director. “Through our partnership, GlobalSign is delighted to be able to facilitate access to hassle-free SSL security for thousands of customers worldwide, and to provide fast go-to-market and maximum ROI for hosting companies looking to resell SSL.”
