Leidos Partners with SecurityMatters for Passive Monitoring of Cyber Threats

Monitoring will focus on industrial control systems networks.

EINDHOVEN, The Netherlands - Leidos, a Fortune 500 science, engineering, and information technology company and SecurityMatters, an innovator in Operational Technology (OT) network visibility and threat detection, announced today that they have partnered to provide passive monitoring capabilities to Leidos’ Industrial Defender Automation Systems Manager® (ASM) Solution for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Networks. Leidos’ customers will immediately gain enhanced cybersecurity for Industrial and Critical Infrastructure networks by integrating the SecurityMatters SilentDefense™ solution for continuous threat detection and response. The offering will be available through resale by Leidos to both current and future ASM customers. 

The SecurityMatters flagship product, SilentDefense, is an innovative OT network monitoring and intelligence platform that empowers industrial operators with unrivaled visibility, threat detection capability and control of their network. Leidos will now offer the SilentDefense platform as one of their solutions to the complex security challenges faced by ICS asset owners in the utility and energy sectors today.

Leidos’ Industrial Defender ASM® solution addresses the overlapping requirements of cybersecurity, compliance, and change management for ICS. Industrial Defender ASM is the industry standard for maintaining availability and reliability of critical infrastructure amid escalating cyber threats, increasing regulatory burdens, and accelerating ICS management challenges.
