Trend Micro Comments On Senate Cybersecurity Act

Announced support for the legislation

CUPERTINO, Calif., July 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Trend Micro Inc. (TYO: 4704;TSE: 4704), the global leader in cloud security, today announced support for the U.S. Cybersecurity Act of 2012 authored by Senators Lieberman, Senator Collins, Senator Rockefeller and Senator Feinstein. Cybersecurity enterprises cannot act alone in a hostile cyberspace wherein organized hacking creates systemic risk. The sustainability of the American economy is interdependent with our nation's public and private sector preparedness against cyberattack.
