Gavin Reid is VP of Threat Intelligence for Lancope Inc., where he is a driving force behind data analytics and research for threat identification and remediation. Prior to Lancope, he was Fidelity's VP of threat intelligence and responsible for preventing, detecting and understanding past, present and future cyber incidents. Most recently, at Cisco, he was director of threat research for security intelligence operations, leading a team tasked with researching advanced cybersecurity threats and developing new data analytics technologies. One of his most notable achievements there was the creation of the Computer Security Incident Response Team, a global network of information security professionals responsible for monitoring, investigating and responding to cybersecurity incidents.
