Giora Engel, vice president, product & strategy at LightCyber is a serial entrepreneur with many years of technological and managerial experience. For nearly a decade, he served as an officer in an elite technological unit in the Israel Defense Forces, where he initiated and managed interdisciplinary high-risk projects, bridging different domains and leading R&D teams. His broad range of technology experience spans network analysis, cyber-security, algorithmic coding and mission critical systems. His research in the fields of computer vision and physics has been published in Nature, the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (USA), and the International Journal of Computer Vision, and he holds a patent in the field of image processing. Prior to co-founding LightCyber, Giora co-founded and served as CTO at MeterLive, a consumer insights and audience measurement company, and before that he was Director of Product Management at BQR. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics with honors from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem
