Pat Carroll is the executive chairman and founder of ValidSoft, a global supplier of cybersecurity and transaction authentication solutions utilized by banks, financial services companies, and governments to secure and authorize payment transactions. He has more than 25 years of experience in developing secure transaction and trading technologies used by leading financial services firms, including Goldman Sachs International, JP Morgan, Credit Suisse Financial Products, and Bankers Trust Co. He is responsible for intellectual property and research and development at ValidSoft and is a frequent speaker at global financial services industry conferences. He has presented at the European Central Bank's "Retail Payments at a Crossroads" event, appearing as an expert on the topics of security, fraud prevention, anti-counterfeiting, and data protection in the retail payment industry.
